Izvir Krupe — Attraction in Semič

Visiting the source of the river Krupa was one of the highlights of my road trip through Bela Krajina. I highly recommend anyone to visit this wonderful spot. It's easy to find and suitable for families with children.

If you feel up to the challenge and want to enjoy nature a bit, you can follow the trail down the river and the top of the small canyon. You will even come across a small cave that used to provide shelter to our prehistoric ancestors.

Very stunning walk! You have a parking space right before the Krupa source and then it is a 5 min walk down the forest. After that ypu can continue hiking by the trail along the Krupa. Bring hiking sticks! We went right after rain and at some point is was very slippery and steep so we couldn't continue the trail until the end.

Parking is free as well as everything else and the nature is breathtaking.

This beautiful source of the Kupa is a nice place to escape to nature, located deep in the region Bela Krajina region. It's free to visit.
