Got here quite late around 7:00pm having got off to a late start in the day. Although it was getting late, we checked the closing time of the Logar Valley Park, and it appeared to be open till at least eight. When we were almost there, we must’ve missed a turn off or maybe Google maps was taking us to the wrong spot, so we stopped and asked another couple that were there, who sent us on the right path. In 15 to 20 more minutes, we were at the entrance to the hike.

It was pretty quiet, and although we thought we might have to pay for an entrance fee, there was nobody around. So off we went and 12 minutes later we were at the waterfall. It was more spectacular than I expected and absolutely beautiful with the most incredible Vista across the valley of the Juliana Alps. It was hard to get enough of that view. I booted it up another section to get to the top of the waterfall and couldn’t help but sit there and be in my...

Rinka is a fairly tall waterfall that is extremly pronaunced in the spring as the snow in the mountains surounding it begins to melt. The hike to the water fall leads you from the valley "Logarska dolina" up along the river which can depending on the season dry up. The hike depending on your step will take you about an hour and a half. There are places to rest and have something to eat or drink and take in the sceanery. They mostly serve local authentic dishes. There is also a bar called the Eagles nest right at the top overlooking the waterfall once you get to the top. Should you not want to hike the entire way, you can drive most of the way. You get to a place where you can have a drink and can already see and hear the waterfall. From here if you want to see it up close you will have to continue on foot for another twenty to...

A very pleasant waterfall just a 15-minute walk from the parking lot and the bar below. You can hike further up, but the path above the falls is steep and demanding — we stayed at the lower section. Right next to the waterfall there’s a small wooden hut with a bar, really cozy, with views both of the falls and the valley below. You can walk right up to the water, touch it, take photos — it looks fantastic. Definitely worth a visit. And if you enjoy this spot, make sure to head another day to Lake Bohinj and check out the Savica waterfall — it’s bigger, more developed, and probably makes an even...

To me personally this is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Slovenia, especially in winter. You can get right next to the waterfall, being gently sprayed with fresh mountain waterfall water. If you are adventurous you can even take a splash into the waterfall basin. If you're into views, the "Orlovo Gnezdo" outlook is on a high place about 70m above the waterfall overlooking part of the valey. Be careful though, because the stairs are super slippery and the road to the waterfall can also beel dangerous because of ice and packed snow. But it is well worth the danger, because it is absolutely beautiful.
