We had a truly delightful paddling afternoon with Eric! From initial contact, Eric was responsive and flexible to arrange for afternoon trip instead of morning to for our travel plans. The Soca and Idrijca are gorgeous rivers and the paddling isn’t strenuous. The best part was the peace and quiet we experienced on the river as Eric has access to a quieter and less touristy section of the rivers. On top of the paddle, we got to spend time with a local who is genuinely interested in sharing his rivers and life and now count Eric as “Eric, our friend in Slovenia”. Could not recommend more! Eric was absolutely brilliant, from being flexible with our start time to adapting the activity to suit our interests. Eric only does private bookings, so you'll never be mixed with other people meaning you have the experience that YOU want. Eric is a local family man so he had lots of stories and interesting facts about the area on route. The water was just incredible and we were the only people on the river the whole way! We also went to a secluded beach where we could swim! All in all, an incredible value experience if you are after a beautiful and relaxing morning....

Erik was a wonderful, friendly and patient guide who showed us some beautiful spots and explained some of the history of the area too.
