Arboretum — Attraction in Upravna Enota Kamnik

A nice spacious park, but many things could be improved. Firstly, the playgrounds could be made more spacious. They are a bit crowded during peak hours. But there is a toilet in the playground, which is a big plus because there is a huge queue at the exit for the regular women's toilet. It is unclear why it was not possible to make it two or three times larger than the men's, the huge area of ​​the park allows this to be done without harming the environment. Entrance to the park costs 10 €, which is unusual because such parks are usually free. In addition, the park has many paid activities, which means it makes money on everything anyway. There is no healthy food in the park, there is no normal restaurant, which means if you stick to a healthy lifestyle, you will simply leave there hungry. There are few parking spaces during peak hours. Moreover, when we were there, the exit was blocked and everyone was entering and exiting through one place. It is not very convenient. It is not very clear why they are preventing a restaurant with green salads from being made. There are also very few seats in the restaurants, which is...

The Festive Arboretum at Volčji Potok is a must-see for anyone visiting Slovenia during the winter months. The park is transformed into a winter wonderland with a lighted path, light displays, and a winter wonderland for children. The stroll is open from November 19th to January 8th.

I took my family to the Festive Arboretum today and we had a wonderful time. The path was easy to walk and the light displays were beautiful. The children loved the winter wonderland, which had a snow slide, a snowman, and a reindeer.

Excellent places for kids also for adults to relax. Let of playing option for children. If the weather is pleasant you will enjoy even more. The tap water at this place was awesome i feel that's the best drinking water in Slovenia or atleast better than Ljubljana. Also the icecream available in the cafe bar was very good, after walking in hot sun that was really fantastic. Large area of lawn was good for photographs and any events.
