The castle on the outside is nice enough, unfortunately the inside is actually only a restaurant and thus is closed most of the time due to weird working hours. However the view from the parking area and nearby trails are outstanding and worth the trip. Views of Trieste, Koper and the Adriatic. Update as of 23.5.2021 Restaurant is now open and I highly recommend. You don't need to eat and can just stop for a drink and enjoy the surroundings. However, the food is very good quality and the staff is very friendly. Recommend reservations....

Beautiful! The castle is located on the edge of a tall mountain, offering incredible views for km around. View of the sea and Koper and many places around. The feeling that we are in flight. By the way, we saw that they fly paragliders there.
