Plaža mesečev zaliv — Attraction in Upravna enota Piran / Unità amministrativa Pirano

A small but beautiful wild beach. Rocks might bother some people and be liked by others like divers. Don't be surprised to see naked bodies, it's an unregulated beach. But it's a part of the very beautiful Moon Bay (Mesečev Zaliv), so maybe you can come here just to explore it, below on the beach, or from the trails above the magnificent cliffs. You might relax on the beach, have a morning run above it from one of many apartments or hotels nearby, or maybe you are trekking from Izola to Strunjan Soline on a very nice trail above the beaches with many nice views of Izola, the gulfs of Koper and Trieste, Strunjan and Piran. Good and quiet / calm location, but other than that, this beach doesn't provide much, as you can see on the photos. I guess the sunset from the point of view that pics were taken from, offer a nice view, but I haven't stayed that long to...

Piccola (ma neanche tanto) baia semplicemente meravigliosa! Mare trasparente e fondali rocciosi ricchi di pesci e granchi. La discesa è agevole, la risalita più impegnativa ma fattibile. Come tutti i posti in Slovenia parcheggi costosi ma qui abbiamo trovato uno spazio sotto all'hotel, uno slargo brecciato a servizio della spa e del ristorante che consente di parcheggiare gratuitamente. Poi ci si incammina verso il camping e si trova il bivio per il sentiero. Non si deve scendere subito verso la spiaggia del camping ma proseguire un po'. Con Google maps si trova bene il sentiero.
