Karst Living Museum — Attraction in Upravna enota Sežana

Very cool. The area is very large and plenty of routes to take. I would recommend coming here in the winter or Autumn. As in the summer and spring there are many insects and it's quite hot. As well as in the summer there is a high chance of catching ticks. This area is great for hikes, walks, jogging and it's also dog friendly. Some routes are easy and some are more difficult. But nothing crazy. Really good! Some parking and fun destinations within the area to visit....

The best is to go on the trail on a sunny autumn day when Cotinus coggygria is in its fiery colours. The trail is a nice escape in nature and an opportunity to learn about Karst nature and cultural heritage.

Smaller trails lead from the main one and you can decide what to see and how much to walk/cycle. The signs are usually well noticable exept in a few areas. Mind the cyclists while you're there since they can...
