Make no mistake its a wonderful place to visit. The antique vibe unfortunatly is taken to the point where most dining room chairs( no shortage) are on the verge of collapse. ( potential safety hazard). My hot water lasted no more 90 seconds in the shower and the bath plumbing leaked through a missing fitting and i had to persevere for an hour with wet wood to get the braai and indoor fire going. Campsites are o.k for the rate charged, however, only 3 sites with some shade. Toilets and showers are reasonably clean but outdated and a bit removed from campsites. No amenities for doing dishes.
