What an awesome sleepover. The Park supplies everything you need except food , utensils and firewood. We booked on what was going to be the coldest night of the year. We took some extra blankets and warm clothes. We were supplied with a bag for every bed with a pillow, pillowcase, fitted sheet, duvet cover, nice warm blanket and a Mosquito net. Included were 2 spotlights, 2 drums with water and a braai grid. It turned out to be the most amazing night. 2 large herds of elephant as well as 2 large male lions that filled the dusk air with roaring....

An awesome experience and one we will repeat. Hide needs maintenance and wasn't particularly clean. Nice firepit and braai area. We had a lion during the night that called for hours next to the hide which was amazing. 2 springhares in the parking lot and an ellie or two in the evening. Take peaceful sleep or tabard as it is next to the water and their are of course mosquitos. Will...

We slept at the hide on two occasions. It was a unforgettable experience being so close to nature with just the bare essentials when it comes to comfort an luxury. With no electrical lighting you can start a cosy and comforting fire at the boma where you can spend quality time with your friends and family. There are 9 sigle beds with matresses. You can hire bedding or...

Cool spot, close to the Palaborwa gate. You can also sleep over in the bird hide, overlooking a dam. When sleeping over there are braai facilities and bathrooms (the bird hide then "transforms" into a bedroom.) If you are only a day-visitor there are no bathrooms avaiable at the bird hide.
