Sable Sleepover Hide — Attraction in Ba-Phalaborwa Local Municipality

What an awesome sleepover. The Park supplies everything you need except food , utensils and firewood. We booked on what was going to be the coldest night of the year. We took some extra blankets and warm clothes. We were supplied with a bag for every bed with a pillow, pillowcase, fitted sheet, duvet cover, nice warm blanket and a Mosquito net. Included were 2 spotlights, 2 drums with water and a braai grid. It turned out to be the most amazing night. 2 large herds of elephant as well as 2 large male lions that filled the dusk air with roaring....

An awesome experience and one we will repeat. Hide needs maintenance and wasn't particularly clean. Nice firepit and braai area. We had a lion during the night that called for hours next to the hide which was amazing. 2 springhares in the parking lot and an ellie or two in the evening.
