The fishing is OK. At least the road from the Pienaarsrivier offramp is completed. The last 2km's before the dam turnoff require caution as the craters (not potholes) are huge. Slow and steady on that section. The road from the turnoff to the reception is a good gravel road. The road from the nature reserve to the boat launch site is horrible. Has not been graded or repaired in over 3 years at least. The container bathrooms are unusable. Despite the hefty entrance fees, no money seems to be going back to the site for maintenance and...

Went Bass fishing on 18/2/2021..the worst facility i have been to, NO maintenance ,grass long, ablution facility is totally destroyed, toilets ripped out , everything is broken .Roads in terrible condition if you tow a boat. They should use the entry fees to keep the maintenance up....and fix the...
