Learnt a lot of interesting facts about crocodiles. Approximately 48,000 crocs. You only see about 100 around 3 dams and you get a tour from a knowledgeable guide, the lady who led us has been at the farm for 12 years! She answered all our questions. A tip for her would be nice 🙂 Restaurant where you can get variety of crocodile recipes even pies. All food is cooked fresh. Recommend the Croc fillet & Chips. Curio shop with all sorts of crocodile products including jewellery from skin and teeth, postcards, crocodile oil soaps and cosmetics, trinkets and lots more. You can also by frozen croc fillet You can also get a stuffed croc by order. The farm is a few kilometres off the highway and its all gravel road to the farm. Recommended

We visited Thaba Kwena and the experience was excellent. One of the ladies gave our a tour of their crocodile enclosure with allot of information we honestly didn't know. She's been there for 14 years, 12 years in the kitchen and 2 year in the shop and giving guides to people visiting. The entrance fee is very low cost us for 2 adults 2 and 3 kids R140. There is allot of crocodile items for sale including meat for those who might be interested in exploring it. Their restaurant is very well priced and the food is great. There is also some large kios in a small pond, beautiful birds and even two alligators to see. The place is very clean and well looked after. Would recommend the trip.

A great but brief outing for the children. Watching the crocodiles being fed was pretty cool. Met some cool patrons as well during our visit which was great. We didn't have anything in the restaurant that looked quite cosy and reasonably priced. Well worth the R50 cover charge. If it's possible maybe they could add a few more activities like patrons getting involved in the feed? Probably a lot of indemnity issues but could be fun. Very cool signs as you drive into the farm. The children were tickled with them. A Saturday afternoon well spent.
