MASTERING SOCIAL MEDIA FOR ARTISTS By EMERGING ARTS.
It was this Saturday, 16 March 2024, from 8:30 am to 14:00.
It educated us to create, showcase and sell your art. The facilitator dived deep inside. As a writer and blogger I have found a way to work with other artists with these networks.
Let us not give it to falter with this.
At these mediums it is so functional. I am great at analysing. I have an eye for it, art, creativity, all. I can be so artistic, eg putting ideas together for poems, blogs, etc.
Jo Roets is good at it. I am assured of the prospects of working with art.
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Language and Communications, Sociology and Political Studies and International Relations/ Diplomacy/ Foreign Policy. Art can be such an influence and an interest. She was great at it.
Thank you 😊 Bellville Library at its art.b Gallery hosting us for this workshop.
As a University of the Western Cape Alumni I have a great regard of Bellville and such. It goes back on my family and nation ever. It is captivating. It has always been close to my heart than any other town. It is where I wish to work than at the Central.
Even my Mkhulu was a truck driver for County Fair Kraaifontein Chicken Farm.
This side has people warmth.
When I was a UWC student I stayed at Gorvalla Residents in Bellville South and at Disa Residents in the Tygerberg Hospital Yard. So this is an area that gives us opportunities and I find it that it is because it is me and my kind of people. I am at better because of such. I cannot disappoint myself being given such blessings. It has always been part of our family culture with such opportunities and work across boarders basically. It is a whole lot of a great system
I am happy 😊 I managed to progress and be the first with my family to be a university (Bachelor) degree Graduate.
You guys know you are helpful. It was beautiful. I feel glad I attended. It met my expectations even more. This is what I like about it.
My position have become stronger. With entrepreneurship such opportunities are always promising to me, especially from the social media, there is so much support. It is amazing. I have confidence with it.
Jo Roets truly went deep. I can still feel the after taste, she knows what she is talking about. I felt free and open listening to her, wow. The Booklet is perfect and easy to go through, taking care of everything. She presented her work well. She knows her stuff.
Again, thank you 😊 City of Cape Town and the Bellville Library for the JO ROETS PRESENTS SOCIAL MEDIA FOR ARTISTS WORKSHOP WITH IT’S WORKBOOK BY EMERGING ARTISTS. It has a social media and traditional artist feel with it. I liked it’s exploration, she brought it credibly, uyenze yalula yonke lento.
Also the people, food and theme altogether just connected everything well.
Like Thabo Mbeki, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Nelson Mandela and Mayor Lungelo Mbandazayo I identify and relate.
I still say inspiration is everything.
I am thankful, you 😊 know.

Read moreI've mostly had a pleasurable experiences browsing books in the library and and when it comes to checkout I always leave with a heapful of books as they have a great selection on books both old and new. The staff are knowledgeable and courteous but....There is this one gent who normally sits at the info desk as you come into the library, when I wanted to take out books the librarian referred me to renew my membership card at the Info desk as it expired. I then went and asked him to, I watched him as he got impatient with me and refused to renew my membership card telling me that because I do not live in the Cape vicinity I cannot be a member. I then told him that I'm a student at one of the tertiary institutions in Cape Town, presented my student card as proof but he just shunned me away. I left empty handed and phoned in the next day, then another librarian renewed my membership...
