Macassar Beach — Attraction in Cape Town Ward 109

It's an open stretch of beach with very little in the way of facilities or commerce, but on just the right day, it's perfect for a peacful ocean experience.

Didn't see any lifeguards on site, but there were groups of clean-up crews to ensure the area was clean and that was a big positive.

It's popular with fishermen and the water was calm, but the entry and adjacent areas seemed to lack maintenance.

It is a beautiful beach but very abandoned. There is little to no people who visit the beach due to it being deserted. A lot of bushy areas which criminals like to hide. There is fisherman but to the left of the beach the other areas has no people. It is full festive season but other then that...
