Clanwilliam Flower Show — Attraction in Cederberg Local Municipality

Beautiful flower arrangements however I feel the entrance fee or R100/pp is exorbitant especially if visiting with family (it adds up quickly). I was really looking forward to attending this all year and was left underwhelmed at the end.

Flowers are on display in the church and it's quite a small area so you get through in 30-60 minutes max if you stop and look at each flower.

It was good to see what the show is about but in future I'd rather go to Postberg and spend an entire day there exploring instead for the same entrance fee they charge...

The flower show is hosted in the old church. A display of the various regions are recreated inside the church. There is also a specimen room where all the different species are clearly shown and identified. The church grounds is also interesting with the old cemetery surrounding it. We visited the show, Thursday, 31 August 2023. Unfortunately a lot of the flowers and arrangements already withered. Can just imagine the grandur of the exhibition when all the flowers were still fresh. It was noticeable that new flowers and arrangements were continuesly added and updated.
