The farmstall has loads of local wine and beer, a wide range of Rooibos products, as well as a broad array of homemade products; jams, marmalade's, sauces, rubs, soaps, etc. Also saw some fresh produce, cheese and meat & precooked meals. Also clothes and accessories. If you also looking for some gifts, you will be successful here. You’ll find leather bags, frames, pot plant stands, etc. and some pre-loved items (clothing and books). The middle bathroom for wheelchairs is a semi period friendly bathroom (but there are no bags to dispose hygiene products) Maybe they will be added in future ?!

This place was a really good visit. It is packed with so much. Fresh veges in the front, the main area is full of food items to buy including many gift items. There is also a wine corner showcasing a lot of the local wines. The kitchen does all sorts including coffee. There is a large indoor eating area as well as a large outdoor eating area. A play area for the kids too. The staff was really helpful and friendly. Clean toilets too. We spend a fair bit of time here and bought a few items. Can highly recommend a stopover here.

Had some brunch here while visiting Clanwillliam briefly on our roadtrip recently It has inside and outside seating and a lovely entrance with some flowers in bloom. We were initially confused by the name outside vs Google maps There are some items to buy , jam , clothes, veggies, fruit etc Was nice and cosy on a wet miserable day. Had roosterbrood with tomato and sausage, delicious Enjoyed our visit and will return when we in the area again

Stopped at this place on Monday afternoon for our last meal in South Africa on our way to the airport. Even though the place wasn't full, it was a mistake. After 25 minutes of waiting for our order (which was the usual waiting time for any restaurant in South Africa, even very full ones), I explained our waitress we don't have a lot of time and asked for our order. I was told our meal is taking care of as they've just finished cooking a meal for a family who ordered before us. In 20 more minutes I found our waitress and told her we have a plane to catch. She went to the kitchen and returned with very sad news: they haven't even started to cook our meal. We had to pay for our drinks and leave immediately being very hungry. We asked why we were not informed that the wait was so long, and the woman at the cashier desk has told our waitress she should have told us that the wait is more than an hour (!!!) The only place with such a bad service during our 10 days in South Africa, don't recommend you to visit it in case you don't have at least 1.5-2 hours...

Went for tea tasting and lunch, did it with them many years ago and it was superb, and as both our kids love rooibos we promised them if we ever go to Clanwilliam we will take them for the experience.

Firstly we had to virtually beg to have it as we were told outright no but after a manager intervened the tasting proceeded, last time we were told stories and history this time round just given a sheet to read and decide what you want to taste, no explanation nothing.

Lunch I ordered Roosterkoek and boerewors huge dissapointment very average. My wife ordered pulled pork chiabata and she loved it, the rooibos milkshakes also very nice.

A memorable moment spending over a R1000 for tasting and lunch plus another R500 afterwards in the shop really left all of us very dissapointed.

Maybe we got to them when they were really not in the mood and maybe we should have taken the no first time round.

Hopefully whoever goes after us have better luck than us we...
