Yellowstone Hiking Trail — Attraction in Dihlabeng Local Municipality

We really enjoyed our hike at Yellowstone today. It ticks all the boxes. Views, uphill climbs, downhill treks, challenging tyre ladder, forests, rocks, open plains. At this time of year there isn't much water around, however, one can picture the waterfalls in full splendor. Piet the owner is a fabulous host and he treated us like old friends. Wonderful, breathtaking and beautiful.

Great hiking area, 8myl Farm is beautiful with gorgeous views. They have 2 hiking routes at the moment, an easier one and an intermediate one. Both are not too difficult. Both have waterfalls to admire. Awe-inspiring area for a relaxing walk or a quick jog. Anything is possible.

They even have a camping site with bathrooms and hot water. Open to both campers and day visitors.

We were greeted by the friendly host with a delicious cup of coffee. We did only the brown route and enjoyed the beautiful scenery and well marked route. We enjoyed cooling off under the waterfall as it was a hot summers day. Great activity to do as a family or friends. Ended with a cold Oros by the host.
