Andreas Guest House — Attraction in Drakenstein Local Municipality

A wonderful calm oasis after a long drive on very hot sunny day. The gates opened on to a shaded drive and veranda with lush green gardens in the background.|After a very warm welcome from Karen, we were showed our two rooms for the night. The teenage boys were delighted with their twin beds, air con, USB ports and speedy wifi! |Our room was very similar in layout, but with a king size bed with the best super soft white bedding. Nothing was overlooked, a laptop size safe pleased the husband, and I was happy to see a hairdryer conveniently placed by a cleverly designed simple wardrobe/cupboard concealing the dressing table, tv and seating.|The fridge was a bonus, with filtered water, and the boys were delighted with iced lattes thanks to the thoughtful presence of a nespresso machine in the upstairs lounge area.|The morning heralded another beautiful sunny day so I took advantage of an early swim in the tranquil pool. I returned for a snooze, a read and a swim after a delicious home cooked South African breakfast.|During a hectic 3 week holiday, this was by far the most relaxing and indulgent part of the trip. This stunning place was exceeding our expectations.

The beautiful, lovingly, clean rooms, farm house, the magic, cosy atmosphere, tranquil setting of peace and quiet.

We booked Andreas Guest House for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready for the wedding.
