|| OUR WEEKEND IN WELLINGTON ||
We arrived at Imbuko wines this morning and I was so bad🤦🏽♀️. Instead of participating 🙄, I watched🤷🏽♀️ the parkrun at Imbuko Wines , while indulging in a Pie🥧 and Wine Pairing🍷.
The spritzers are so good but I fell for the Shiraz Mouvedre Blend and the Chenin blanc
We did the Gourmet Pie & Wine pairing, the each pies are packed with flavour and also very filling. The wines are so well with each pie but really stands out if enjoyed on their own. The Pairing which cost R80 per person but should you fell for some lighter you can choose between the below mentioned options.
Standard Wine Tasting | R50 Pomula Pop Tasting st R50 Sophie Terreblanche Tasting | R50 Blind Tasting | R50 Dapper Muis Tasting | R175 Pomula Pop Pairin g – Limited Offering | R 6 0 Glass of wine | R30
They are open weekdays until 5pm (kitchen close at 4pm), and Saturdays until 1pm.

Some of our group decided to go for Inbuko's wine pairing options with the one going for the macaroon tasting and the other one the Pinotage pairing. Both enjoyed the pairings, found them interesting and recommended everyone try some. The staff were also friendly and knowledgeable about the wines making the experience so much better. As mentioned, before I visited I hadn't heard of Imbuko Wines, but I am thrilled that I found a bit of...
Read moreVisited the farm at just past 3 on Tuesday 29 July and my friend and I could not do a tasting according to the one guy behind the counter. Apparently they need time to clean up before they close the tasting room at 5pm. The farm was literally quiet with only one group there. They basically poured a wine tasting for the group that was there which told me that the group just arrived. To me it was poor service and they did not make any effort to make us feel welcomed or to try and make a sale for Imbuko. I suggest you look at your staff members and let them know that if they want to work in hospitality they need to pull up their socks. I will not...
