Krantzkloof Nature Reserve

I love this place! Its a beautiful place with great views of nature, animals and a breathtaking waterfall.

They offer fun family friendly hiking trails for people with all levels of experience to enjoy.

Alot of butterflies, insects and birds can be seen on these trails, for the beginners there is a easy trail leading above a waterfall and through a cave which takes about an hours hike if you don't stop and look at the view.

For the more experienced hikers there is a trail that leads to the bottom of a beautiful waterfall. There you can expect to be alone with nature as not much people have the guts to take on the very steep down hill climb but it is absolutely worth it!

You pay a small entrance fee amount of R30 per person and can spend tge whole day there. There are designated picnic spots aswell.

It is absolute a fun way of staying in shape, keeping your health levels up and your fitness in tact. You will definitely enjoy the peacefulness and the sounds that nature pffers.

Be sure to grab a map at the main entrance and remember sun block! Bring a pair of binoculars with and a hat

Ask the local guide at the main entrance what the best route would be to fit your fitness level.

Very safe and secure parking but it does fill up quite fast so be sure to get there nice and early.
