From mid / Northern KZN to the Wild Coast, we decided to take a "different" route than the N2 and overnighted at Mount Currie (Kokstad) which was pleasant and then at Tortoni. The trip in our motorhome was so nice that I doubt I will ever use the N2 route again - one of the reasons, apart from a relaxed drive on good roads (other than for the 20 kms before Mthatha under construction when we travelled), was the lovely stop at Tortoni.
