St Winifred's Beach — Attraction in eThekwini Ward 97

Great beach, quite clean for such a public area but of course it's a different story during the festive season because it gets quite packed but i magine that it's clean during the rest of the year. Parking is a nightmare when packed so try to get there as early as possible, another disadvantage is that aren't any stores close to the beach itself, rather buy stuff before arriving so you don't lose your parking. Also, if you get there late amd it's full, don't force parking close to the beach because getting out will be a pain, rather park by the roads a bit further down, it's safe from what i could...

Great parking and secure, lifeguard station in attendance. We came twice and was noisy with BOOM BOXES on Saturday but much quieter on the Sunday as we guessed most of the Gauteng tourist were travelling home on the Sunday. Naturally very high over Christmas time at the coast but very pleasant beach and very clean. The shoreline traders didn't hassle you too much and realised that we were not going to buy yheir goods. All in all two very plesant days and im sure its even better out of season though I'm not sure there would be lifeguards...
