A must-do experience at Oribi...
A friend gave me Andy’s number just as I was heading off for a quick visit to Lake Eland. I messaged him straight away to see if he could fit me in at short notice.
Once I arrived at the camp, I found a handful of friends who were also keen, and we arranged to meet Andy the following morning.
At the site, we were amazed to see several vultures circling above. They recognised Andy’s car — not as a food source, but as a familiar and trusted presence — and came to take a closer look at us.

Andy’s love for the birds and his willingness to share their world with visitors made this an unforgettable experience.
Definitely something I’d love to do again — and next time I’ll remember my camera!

We were in absolute awe of what we saw and learned. If I could give the experience 10 stars I really would. Thank...
Read moreWhat an uplifting experience! So much so that my spirit is still up there soaring with the vultures. In the past I have only seen them at a stinky kill in a game reserve - squabbling, squawking and looking messy with innards. Thank you Andy (and the team) for sharing your knowlege and bringing home to us just how important it is to keep vultures out there in our skies. I'll definitley be...
