Makutsi Game Reserve — Attraction in Greater Tzaneen Local Municipality

We are a family of 12 from Australia (2 grandparents, 5 adults and 5 children) who have only just returned from the most wonderful time at Makutsi. Karen, Heike and their whole family and staff made us feel as though we were an extension of their family during our stay. The accommodation was perfect, facilities were wonderful and meals delicious. The guides are fantastic and with them we saw all of the Big 5 on several occasions, so close and personal we could almost touch the lions, elephants, leopard and cheetah. It made for the most incredible family holiday ever (from a well travelled family!) Thanks you so much everyone at Makutsi - expect friends of ours to bombard you soon as we can't stop raving...

Have loved my stay at Makutsi. Learned so much and loved seeing the animals, with our oh so knowledgeable guides. Everyone has been so friendly and having the animals wandering in and around camp has been a real treat. So sorry to leave but also looking forward to...

Das Makutsi Game Reserve ist ein familiär geführtes Gameresort der ganz besonderen Art. Die komfortablen Rondavels mit guten Betten sind weitläufig über das Gelände verstreut, die Verpflegung ist gut und besonders positiv sind die fachmännisch geführten Safaris der verschiedenen Guides zu bewerten. Die eigene heisse Thermalquelle tut dem Körper und dem Wohlbefinden sehr gut. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber und ein klasse Team (Personal) runden das Gesamtpaket ab. Deutsche und englische Kommunikation ist jederzeit gewährleistet. Es gibt klare Regeln im Camp welche zu beachten sind, da jederzeit die ansässigen Tiere durch das Resort...
