On the top area there is a good tarred parking , lawn terraces with ample build in braais as well as a kiosk for refreshments . Read moreThe beach is lovely, there is a small tidal pool for kiddies. There are a lot of fish to see if you snorkel in the rocky area, which is great at low tide. There are generally lifeguards on duty from 7am to 5pm. The beach kiosk serves warm fresh chips and a few snacks and cold drinks. There are taps and showers where you can rinse off before going home, but unfortunately the handles and taps themselves are often stolen or broken. The bathrooms are generally clean but, because they are so close to the bushy area, I would not let children or women go by themselves, recently people have been attacked on the beaches and there are signs of vagrants living in the bushes close to the restrooms. Look out for glass on the beach sand close to the stairs that lead down from the parking area.
Stay safe - don't walk alone, don't walk where you can't see other beach visitors, don't go before 7am or when it starts...
