The self-catering accommodation was well suited; the buildings are quite old, so there was only one functional plug in the chalet and no form of lighting when loadshedding sets in. I would advise taking flash lights. The location is quite deep in the reserve, so don't expect shops or restaurants. Come prepared with essentials. Be sure to pack for the cooler temperatures, especially if visiting during the winter months. Reaching the reserve requires traveling on a dirt road for a few kilometers. Very neglected. Staff friendly but definitely do not work. There is water now. Why not use on garden or camping site. Cut down dead branches clear up dry sticks under trees and maybe paint the picnic area!! It all...
