Mofolo Park's well-kept grounds are obvious in the neatly cut grass I saw, suggesting that maintenance may be occasional. The park shines as a tranquil retreat when there aren’t any events. I always bring my pet with me, so the park's dog-friendliness is a big advantage for me. One of the drawback for the park is the children's play area, which is currently missing a few swings which is evident in the grounds the swings used to be. Hopefully, these will be replaced soon will complete the park's offerings and make it even more appealing for families. Also, restrooms. I did not stick at the park long enough because I saw non.

It's very peaceful and they need to put little effort into cleaning daily and the toilet situation is beyond me. I don't understand y Soweto parks don't have toilets or usable ones at least. Security is visible these always traffic offices. They need to fix the kids' playing area as nothing is usable. Good gyming equipment, they just need to maintain and have a security looking after that section cause since the swings are not working they swinging there.

Nice big park, would be better if there was some maintenance and cleaning in and around the park.

Mofolo Park, previously known to locals as the 5 Roses Bowl, has been revived. A great place for a picnic or a performances that require a stage, much better because it has a permanent stage. Our dj for the day placed their sets on the stage. But yhey required a gazebo to block the sun in the afternoon because the bowl faces the west of park & it's too sunny, although a plus for the spectators or public who'd be dancing & facing away from the sun in the open space. There are enough trees to enjoy their shades during summer. There's a fenced children's play area with swings & slides a few meters from the bowl. We had to bring our own braai stands & didn't see any braai stands. There are a few picnic benches, most of us enjoyed sitting on our picnic blankets, enjoyed the...

I absolutely enjoyed my time there, not necessarily for the place itself but the people. The art that you will see there was done by us and the girls. That was an awesome experience. The dust thou wasn't sexy, some driver decided to spin and create even more dust - I hope he chokes on it one day. The space itself is lovely, just needs more maintenance cause it could be way better. It's child friendly but that slide is dangerous, they could have made it more safer for kids. That's just my 2cents....
