Reserve seemed well maintained, bathroom facilities at the entrance was clean. Gates were open early, but the office only opened later, opted to hike early, and paid on the way out. Cost for day was R70 per person. Reception was a few snacks for sale, and reasonably priced. Drive to reserve is along a length gravel road, most of which is well maintained. Last about 1.5km has a few rough patches. Multiple hikes start from here.

Stunning scenery and a few hikes ranging in difficulty. The staff at the reception are very friendly and the ablutions at the reception area are in the good condition however the same cannot be said about the rest of the facilities. The day visitors area is a mess with long grass and dilapidated facilities. The trails are not well marked and are badly overgrown in areas, the place on the whole seems somewhat forgotten.

The short hike to the waterfall is beautiful and definitely recommended. Great for swimming and the views are lovely. We struggled with the drive (it had rained a bit and the dirt road is terrible). Also struggled paying as they only accept cash (R70 per adult). The staff were friendly but the hiking map is not very clear and the trails not very well marked.
