Not too shabby, it's a great weekend vacation for a group of friends, typically 10+.

In terms of directions, DO NOT USE the route that goes via R37 Lebowakgomo. There is no actual road, it is no gravel It is rocks and Extremely Dangerous. It's more of a hiking trail not ment for vehicles. Even a 4x4 will not work, unless you're not scared of mountain climbing with a car on a cliff with a possibility of going over. Always use Tzaneen Road.

Make sure you arrive at least by 10 to make sure rooms are clean else you'll be disappointed. Bathroom doors do not lock, some aircons not working, if your scared of monkeys or baboons etc, do not go there.

A fairly peaceful place, not commercial industry or vehicles heard, and no network...

A beautiful nature reserve! We drove up to the viewpoint which provided a superb vista over the Wolkberg - the last part of the drive required a 4x4 vehicle, but it was worth it! We had a picnic in a lovely shared spot under the canopy of large trees. The waterfall was a short walk from where we parked and rather lovely in its verdant splendour! I will be back to test out some hiking trails. Note that no pets are allowed. Entrance fee was R50 for adults and R30 for pensioners (June 2023). There are camping areas if you have a caravan and...

The place is gorgeous. Serenity..!the only issue with the place is that there is no communication whatsoever, the map also took us through mafefe, which must be explained after the booking that it's a no go road. ONLY perhaps if you are driving a 4x4 or those type of cars. So it was a night wasted on the road because we had to go back to rejoin a different route.

Otherwise I give the place a 10...except for the commication and the fact that when we called them that night ,they answered the phone and completely ignored the...

I loved the experience, very beautiful place, You must make sure to fill up with a full tank before going there and a AWD vehicle is most recommended, and if you want to go deep, you must also be with vehicle that has a ground clearance of 60CM+, because the gravel after the tar road can be unforgivable.

Great place for hiking, walks in natural forests along streams and some waterfalls. Beautiful views in the reserve and from the mountains looking over the Lowveld. Every nature lover will enjoy the various views.
