Ashden Lodge — Attraction in Mahikeng Local Municipality

We arrived at Ashden Lodge dirty and dusty after weeks of remote camping in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, and now I truly understand what an oasis feels like. Jenny was warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful - nothing was ever too much trouble. This is the kind of thoughtful service you rarely encounter these days.

From the bed linen and towels to the breakfast ingredients, everything was high quality, with wonderful little touches like shower caps and soft face cloths. Most of all, the generosity stood out: plenty of hot water, delicious rusks, and a magnificent breakfast.

As others have mentioned, Jenny was kind, efficient, and made us feel completely at home. I’ve stayed in many B&Bs and hotels over the years, but this was by far the best experience I’ve ever had.

If you ever find yourself in Mafikeng, I highly recommend...

It was an absolute pleasure to stay at Ashden Lodge, Jenny was so helpful and she made sure we had a great stay! The Room was clean and created an inviting atmosphere. Breakfast the next morning was excellent, could not even finish it all, she even packed us a Lunch Package. I would definitely recommend Ashden Lodge for when you are travelling...
