Mafikeng Game Reserve — Attraction in Mahikeng Local Municipality

ANYONE who gave this a good review is lying. I gave them 1 star because I can't go lower, it's a terrible TERRIBLE TERRIBLE PLACE.

The ROADS are not maintained so it's very difficult to drive around and reach the picnic area.

The PICNIC area is disgusting, there's hardly any grass, it's dusty, you can't set up a picnic on the ground because it's dusty.

The PICNIC area smells horrible

The TOILETS at the Picnic area are dirty, and unusable for ladies

GOING there was the WORST thing ever to experience

THE place is horribly maintained and is farrr WORSE than it was...

The staff were friendly and the animals were in a very good condition taking into account that we were there just after winter before the summer rains has started. However the same cannot be said about the tent camp where we stayed. They had to run a generator during the day and sometimes at night to pump water that we can use. Quite a lot of maintenance is needed in the camp. It has potential if work is done...

A charming little reserve bountiful in plains game. Plenty of kudu, black wildebeest, impala, Springbok and red hartebees. We also saw eland, gemsbok, waterbuck and worthog.
