Sudwala Dinosaur Park — Attraction in Mbombela

Highly disappointed in what we experienced. This place is so run down and not what it was a few years ago. There is no more dinosaur sounds while you walk through, the dinosaurs are so run down and dull they fade in with the dead grass and brown trees. I understand it's winter but I wasted R400 to see nothing. The butterfly park which is free is far better. I am very disappointed in what the kids had to see. I would love my money back but that won't happen. But word of advice do something about the park before you have no visitors left. And visitors make triple sure you wanna go in...

What a fun experience this was. Perfect outing for the whole family especially for dinosaur lovers and kids.

The 'lifesized' dinosaurs themselves are very original and well made. The park is pretty large so well worth the visit.

There is a restaurant and the kiddies hot dog is excellent! 'I love hotdogs'. You may also order a couple beers for your travels into the prehistoric past which was a welcome.

Took the kids there today. Except for a few minor areas that need a bit of maintenance, the park is in great condition and the staff is very friendly.

The only negative experience we had was at the restaurant where the adult portions were more expensive but far smaller than the kids portions. The "adult" boerewors roll we received was much smaller than I would even feed my kids. Also, my plate was taken away from me while I was still eating.

We didn't get a chance to do the cave tour but will try that next time. We'll just stay far away from the...
