Beach looks awesome. The current is strong and there could be sharks swimming around. We visited this beach on New Year's Day. Cars and bags were checked by uniformed personnel. You could buy street food (braai). Safe guardians were overseeing the few swimmers. Public shower and toilets available.
We felt a bit out of place, maybe unsafe?... A lot of people tried unwanted interactions, some were disrespectful to my girls. Overenthusiasm because of new year's festivities and use of alcohol is no excuse. Ask...

Currents are strong. Difficult to swim here and at ingwe & main beach. Cape vidal beach is better for swimming and better vibes especially over weekends.
People that stay outside st Lucia come to this beach over the weekends and trash the town. So sad.
