Had an absolutely great stay. Ella and the manager(I forgot his name) really went out of their way to welcome me. I had a wonderful room and even received breakfast in bed. I stayed in the Cheetah room and the place was very neat and clean. The place is full of game and wildlife to see and its beautiful to just walk around. I will definitely be going back. I recommend going in a vehicle that you don't mins getting muddy especially if it has been raining. They did really well in assisting me to park safely so that my car does not get stuck. They even made a bar tab for me which is a lot more convenient than paying after each round. The bar did not have the biggest variety although it had the basic neccesities. I love the warm personal touch they added by putting on my electric blanket as I arrived on a very cold and rainy friday evening. I look forward to going back here and experiencing their famous bonfire. Next time I might just try their tent style...

Got shocked touching shower taps and shower head. Food was cold and tasteless. Prices totally overrated. Not suitable for weddings because venue for wedding over 4km away from accommodation over badly maintained dirt roads. Dirt roads leading to venue also not maintained. No alternative Marque tent in case of rain in Chappell area. Chappell benches hooked expensive outfits and ruined them. The only staff member worthy of praise is Patrick the barman. He was sharp and knew everyone's name and worked extremely hard. 5 stars to Patrick. No iron in rooms. Power goes off in the middle of getting ready. No back up generator. Very disappointed that my daughter spent so much money for such poor food and service. I will not recommend it to...

Visited Savannah for the first time today looking for a wedding venue. I'm not getting married but I tagged along with the bride & groom to be. For a first stop to a very long hunt, i have to say I know where I plan to get married one day in the future. Absolutely stunning if you're one with nature. I love what the place has to offer as well as how disability friendly the place is. From the acticites they have planned to the planning of the wedding, I really love how well thought everything is. Would definitely reccomend Savanna to people who are looking for...

Good trip. Close enough for a weekend . Plenty to do around the reserve. 5 star potential , 3 star experience. Good : staff ; game drive ; boma braai . Could use improvement: tent electrics , shower in impala tent - drain blocked. Spare toilet paper or fresh roll per tent upon arrival. Real filter coffee a bonus. Good value as part of a combo deal but I feel to the "regular price" is too expensive . Worth R 1400 per couple per night .
