"I had the privilege of visiting the Little Church Teagarden, also known as the Llandaff Oratory, and it was an absolutely profound experience! The service was phenomenal, and the setting was breathtakingly beautiful and tastefully decorated.

Every aspect of the space is meticulously thought out, creating a truly serene and peaceful atmosphere. I was blown away by the beauty and tranquility of this hidden gem, which I believe is one of South Africa's most treasured possessions.

The church is impeccably maintained, and it's clear that the team behind it is dedicated to preserving its beauty and significance. If you're looking for a spiritual experience that will leave you feeling inspired and uplifted, look no further than the Little Church Teagarden.

A must-visit destination for anyone seeking a deeper connection with themselves, nature,...

The Little church in Van Reenen’s pass holds an extremely special place in my heart. I have been going there since I was very young as it was my grans favourite place to stop on our annual journeys down to the coast. The church itself is so peaceful and calm and allows you to sit quietly and pray, light a candle and leave a note in the book. The tea garden restaurant serves some of the yummiest food, especially their scones, cream and jam. They have a lovely gift shop filled with memorabilia. During the spring time the fields are covered in wild daisies and the green grass goes for miles like a beautiful blanket over the valleys. A place where chaos leaves and peace begins....

This is a lovely stop along the N3 Durban/Johannesburg route. A lovely, friendly restaurant with great meals from lite to full meals or just coffee. The owners are very involved and visit all the tables and even clear off the tables and take orders; not something experienced much in these days. There is also the smallest church in the world which built by a father for his son who was killed in a mine accident. There are also old styled accomodation facilities overlooking the mountains. A very...

Definitely worth a stop. Built n 1925 by Joseph Maynard Mathew after his son Llandaff Mathew was tragically killed in the Burnside Colliery Disaster. It is one of the smallest churches in the world and is one of the few privately owned Roman Catholic Churches in the world. The church seats 8 and still has services every Sunday. There is a tearoom is on site which has delicious cheesecake and scones. With amazing views of the surroundings hills. A must stop when visiting the small town of Van Reenen
