Gorgeous views, the gardens leading up to the waterfall are well maintained, there’s some incredible and interesting projects with insightful boards explaining the different processes happening. It’s great to see the eagles still soaring happily.
The only downside, beside the horrendous smell coming from the public toilets which were not in the best condition either, is the litter I came across. Both just in general where things have been dropped and not bothered to be picked up but also and more concerningly, in the inaccessible gardens around the waterfall up the stone steps and path. As a litter free zone, there are no dustbins in the botanical gardens and thus, no way to discard any trash, we can’t rely on general public to adhere to the rules of keeping their litter with them and no picnicking by the waterfall, yet no one is there enforcing that, so many people take their food and drinks with them. It was really disappointing to see all that litter and so many empty plastic bottles lying around, it isn’t the parks fault for this, but perhaps stricter enforcements should be placed to prevent uncivilized people from leaving their junk behind.
I did however see many families with bags of rubbish with them, that they had collected and kept, so it’s not all hopeless, just probably a handful of inconsiderate and uncouth beings that are too lazy to pick up after themselves.
Overall, besides the rude humans that desecrate such a gorgeous, tranquil and well maintained garden and waterfall, it is always wonderful to spend time here.
I will definitely be back to support and enjoy the...

A moderately steep climb of about 15 minutes to enjoy some beautiful panoramic views of the Magalies range. The area that forms the botanical gardens is some of the oldest rock formations in the world around 3600...
