Where to start. There was almost no one on a Saturday the day we were there, didn't understand why until we went inside. No card machines. Then we get in... half of the stuff is not working, one quad bike is broken, no guns for laser tags, etc. Also there are no basic signage, are guests supposed to guess what is happening where, for example we wanted to ride quad bikes, we first spent a whole walk around the park before finding it, then we went to ask the price before loading money onto the card, as it does not get refunded, we made the arrangements with the staff member and went to pay, came back and he said I needed closed shoes.... If he had mentioned it before or there was some kind of basic sign I would not have paid for something I cant use. Yet staff are sitting in the tents even though no one can use the activities. All the shops were closed... and it was in the afternoon. It was absolutely filthy. There were probably 300 attendees standing around on their phones but no cleaning personnel. I did not even attempt using the bathrooms. After the utter disappointment of the park we thought we would get a drink from the bar at the end at least.... we could not pay there.... we had to load money on the stupid card first. So we did.... went back... went to sit on the top floor as they had couches and it looked decent enough. Until we got there.... There was old food left there by someone, full of flies and extremely full of trash. I've heard from many people that they enjoy the ice rink there, but not being a fan of skating myself this place was disappointing, really badly maintained, absent of any form of management and ridiculous with their policies, such as the stupid card to which...
Read moreI spent most of my day here. I think when the park initially opened, it might have been nice. However, now it seems to have been run down and not maintained. Most of the activities do not seem to be available. My feedback on the available activities are set out below.
Camel ride I'm concerned about the condition of the camels. They sit for almost the whole day in one position (apart from when they're giving rides) and their joints seem to be injured. A vet should take a look at them.
Pellet shooting I did enjoy the pellet shooting and think the instructor is quite good. I'd recommend this activity. Ordinarily, you're allowed 5 pellets. However, we exchanged our paintball activity to get 5 more pellets.
Go-carts The go-carts and the track are a bit informal. It might be more enjoyable if you're allowed at least 4 to 5 laps. You're only allowed 2 laps.
Quad bikes This was a fun activity for me. It would also be better if you were allowed 4 to 5 laps instead of 2 laps.
Bowling I was cheated by the game in one round... The tent is quite hot.
Upside down school The upside down house near Harties is 100x better. It's quite unfortunate the state of this one - I do not recommend visiting at all.
Bounce I'm not too sure about the safety of this area within the tent. Unfortunately the area was also quite dirty.
At the end of the day, you want to see local businesses succeed and do well. In order for this place to be a success, it needs more capital and a steady stream of income. For the sake of the workers, I hope...
Read moreShockingly disappointed. Stay away. The park is a stunning concept but everything is broken. The staff was eager make the best of a bad situation but they seemed embarrassed to work there. We booked for 70 adults for early arrival but when got there, there were empty beer bottles and dirty food containers laying around from the previous day's guests. We'll forgive the flooding caused by the previous day's thunder storm which they scrambling to sort out. We were assured that we would be the only booking for the day but other guests started arriving around 10:00.
There was only one quad bike that worked and it is suitable for a 5 year old. The track was flooded and the quad bikes didn't like the water. The other quad bikes laid broken on a heap. There was no axe throwing. Only one pellet gun worked. The paintball guns all malfunctioned and the overalls was so old that it could not button up or zip closed. There was only 2 go karts and it seemed you risked your life to ride them. There were only 3 archery bows and their sights were missing and almost all the arrows had flights missing. Everyone had to shoot at the same 2 targets, I expected each person to have their own paper target. Due to the massive shortage of functioning equipment it took very long to do the activities. We were bored from all the standing around waiting our turn. Due to all the time wasted we were unable to get through all the activities.
We are very sad to have wasted a day...
