Klein Alto Wine Tasting & Restaurant — Attraction in Stellenbosch Local Municipality

What a beautiful new venue at Klein Alto. We enjoyed our lunch next to the fire place. We were greeted with some Alto rosé from the house: a nice and fresh wine. We shared the venison carpaccio which was a good portion for the 2 of us. The burger was very good (according to my partner), the fries a bit thick but that’s probably personal. The steak of the house was nice with a fresh spinach/arugula salad. Not my regular smooth fillet, but still nice. We finished with coffee and the apple pannaquettes: a combination of pancakes and apple crumble. Not too sweet and heavy. The cab.sav 2019 is a very powerful wine, I loved it.
