Rustenberg has quickly become one of my favourite farms in Stellenbosch, which says a lot.
From the scenic drive through the green meadow to the wonderful tasting room, I canât wait to visit again.
The wines are incredible and extremely good quality for money, especially for locals who knows how expensive wine in Stellenbosch can get. We had a wonderful pourer who loved talking about wine as much as we did.
I still talk about Rustenburg to anyone who asks where to go for a wine tasting and itâs been 2 months since I was there.
There is a big open grass field next to the tasting area where kids can play if that is important to you.

The gardens surrounding the winery are just immaculate in their detail and even if you miss the Rustenberg Manor Open gardens these little gardens semi and formal are just the most wonderful tranquil space when passing through Stellenbosch. The staff were very helpful and solved our requirements. The estate is not as large as some of the others but the quality of the wines was excellent. Eugene our host was very knowledgable and answered every one of our many wine questions. After visiting many estates around Stellenbosch, this is the only one we bought several wines from.
