why i rated 2 stars here, although views were beautiful, the website pictures WERE very different to what our camping was like

i know there are several campsites available, but then dont assume all are the same there was mentions of tente, toilets, showers, boskombuis we went to the WILD CAMP, 1 exposed toilet for about 30 people, 1 shower resident to hornets

the problem was we were not prepared for this(we are ok with roughing it), if we knew what to expect we wouldve taken additional camping gear, etc firewood provided was a joke, so we could not braai properly we had to use spade to clear and flatten grounds for tents

the group that was camping with us(on different stand) had the same experience, where the expectations were not set, and photos and descriptions were very different to reality

if we were to go back, we would then take our own wood, our own shower(if necessary) and proper ablutions for the girls(especially when the below is advertised on website "The lady shower is very nice and pretty.

I try to keep the...

The tracks are not clearly visible, but using “Tracks for Africa” and the numbered posts, following the route wasn’t to difficult. Cell phone signal is only available in the wild camp itself but not on the rest of the...

Possibly the most beautiful hidden gem of pet friendly hiking and camping in South Africa. The views from the trails are incredible, the camping spots are secluded and so quiet.
