We have popped into the museum while en route to KNP - the museum itself is really nice - and free - but it clearly hasn't been renovated since 80's (or 90's) and might be found boring by some. Apart from that - everything is presented clearly, kept in order and there are a lot of curious artefacts in there, like carvings from the Boer prisoners-of-war camps or pieces from Lyndenburg history. Photos and relics on display spanning many decades of the indigenous people as well as the Voortrekkers and from the Boer wars to name but a few. Very quiet. Hardly visited by anyone anymore. Buildings and surround needs maintenance. Some of the artifacts left in the open and exposed are almost totally beyond repair. A shame to let history be lost...
