Pictures really don't do justice to this place. It's a real hideaway gem just before you view gods window. Parking to this area is open with no visible car guards but busy enough with flow of tourists to keep away suspicious people. Viewing area is small so you might need to wait in order to see the sights. There is no entry fee to view this so that's a huge positive and being it about 15min drive from Graskop makes it a good attraction to check out. Vegetation around the area needs to be trimmed in order to get the full 180 degree of area but still well...

For me the view from this point is so much more than God's window. Firstly it was quiet. Most people drive past rushing to get to God's window. Secondly we could park close and take a short stroll down to the view point ( not the uphill trek for God's window ). And because people do not stop her frequently. It was a serene magnificent and breathtaking view enjoyed in silence...no screaming kids, running teenagers or loud blarring music and plenty of tour busses to wait get past. And no wait to take a beautiful photo with people jumping into your frame...

Very beautiful place, not only for the eyes but for the soul as well. When one approaches the view site, you are greeted by the all purifying breeze drifting from the depth of the Blyde River Canyon, with all the refreshing aroma of the untouched flora from the bowels of nature herself. You feel like holding your breath forever just to savour the moment. I don't know how to describe the feeling, just go there and experience it yourself maybe you can...

View is decent and well worth walking through the rainforest and to the end of the path. Frustrating to be charged double the price for being international. If that happened in our country, you would be up for discrimination. Think South African attractions really need to rethink their policies. Tourist think twice about spending their money if they feel constantly taken advantage of.

Panoramic views over the Lowveld escarpment without having to pay an entrance fee or being trampled by the hoards that block to God's Window on public holidays. This viewpoint is a short distance north of God's Window on the R 534. This spot is pretty secluded and one needs to stay alert if you are not in the company of other visitors
