Upon studying the map, we embarked on a leisurely drive to Sirheni Bushveld Camp, filled with excitement about visiting this camp for the first time. The journey itself was remarkable with fantastic wildlife sightings along the way. A pit stop at Babalala Picnic Site allowed us to savour a meal, enjoying the leftover sausage we had braaied the previous night. Read moreJust spent 6 days in Sirheni Bushcamp in 2 chalets. Surprised to find there is an electrical point in the chalets - so phones could be charged. No comms though - heaven! Small pool of water in the river provided us with an endless flow of elephant and buffalo from our verandah. Small, quiet camp with very attentive staff - Miyelani and Matilda are great fun and work hard to keep visitors happy. Read moreIn my view the best camp in Kruger Park. Each chalet is cloaked in vegetation giving lots of privacy and a real feeling of being in the bush. Staff is super friendly. There is good game viewing along Mphongolo, Babalala offers a chance of spotting rare antelopes of the Kruger and Shingwedzi Rest Camp is close enough to stock up or use the restaurant.
