Our recent hike at Koedoeslaagte in Parys was nothing short of spectacular. The 12km trail offered a perfect blend of challenge and serenity, winding through diverse landscapes that truly showcased nature’s beauty.

Starting along the riverbanks, we were greeted by the calming sounds of flowing water and lush greenery. The trail then ascended to the top of a mountain, where the effort was richly rewarded with breathtaking views that made us feel as if we were standing where the earth meets the sky.

While parts of the hike were demanding and tested our endurance, other sections provided a more leisurely pace, allowing us to soak in the surroundings fully. The experience concluded with a delightful descent, featuring tranquil water features and stunning vistas of the river, leaving us with a sense of peace and accomplishment.

21/03/2024 I went on a solo hike. On arrival, I met a friendly lady at the reception who took me through their indemnity form and model trail sample. In detail, she explained the routes to consider embarking and what to expect as I move the trails. Furthermore, I was given a walkie-talkie encase I should need help around the trails. That alone made me feel safer. The trails are well marked, clear / open , and clean. I'll be going back soon, and I highly recommend this site. Peace and tranquility are...
