Our birthday girl chose an adventurous 7th birthday here. What a wonderful day full of fun and tons of adventure. The atmosphere was full of anticipation and the promise of adventure left an electric sparkle... The party kicked off the day with turns on the jungle gyms and ‘foefie’ slide.
Then they took on the go-karting track. The session was kicked off with safety rules and demonstration how to handle the go-cart, even the least adventurous was coaxed with a lot of patience to participate and everyone enjoyed it to the fullest. The drivers showed their skills to applause and encouragement of the spectators
Then it was time to tackle the climbing walls.
Once again, the session was kicked off with safety rules and harnessing, the guides led the climbers with a lot of patience and encouragement to master the wall and enable the climbers to be real spider monkeys!
The day ended with delicious boerewors rolls that everyone hungrily devoured and pudding was of course birthday cake or rather cupcakes.
The day ended too quickly, it was time to go home tired but happy.
Congratulations to the owners and every guide, for their patience and who made the day extra special for the adventurous as well as the more timid party goers. Beautiful venue. However Instructor was incredibly condescending and eletist for duration of lead climbing session (5 Sept 2016 at 7:30pm). Made us feel really uncomfortable, even though we had notified the Barn of our limitations, being relatively new to the sport. Luckily a more mature climber/instructor (not sure if he worked there) noticed the incident and took over from the original instructor. We appreciated the advanced climber's maturity, and method of quickly mitigating tension. Sadly we will never return or support this centre. Suggest training your junior staff properly,...

What a lovely experience for first timers. Staff was helpful in explaining everything and answering all the questions we had. Super supportive and encouraging as well.
Drinks on sale on premise which helps on a hot day.
Would most definitely do it again. What a challenging activity!
