It's a really great place to visit. The entrance is R40 per person. There is security at the entrance. You can take a lovely walk around the area and see the animals. There's plenty of trees that create shaded areas where you can have a braai and picnic. The area is bigger than it appears to be so walk/drive around until you find a spot you like. They have buck that roam freely. The rest of the animals are in enclosures (sheep, goats, birds, turtle, rabbits, pigs, ostriches, horses and chickens). You can feed them fresh fruit and vegetables. There is a reptile park that has a variety of snakes, crocs, rock and water monitors, spiders, scorpions, gecko and more. It is open from 8am until midnight (the security at the gate confirmed that they're open until midnight although the signs say they close at 4pm, so you can ignore those). There are no stores or restaurants so bring your own refreshments. It is family friendly and safe and has a playground for kids. It is clean, well maintained and has bins...
Read moreBeautiful place to take your family or friends for an outing. If you have an event you can book for a private function at one of the 3 venues. Decorations are also very necessary if doing a venue hire as the venue itself was previously an animal shelter. Prices...
