Sandveld Nature Reserve — Attraction in Tswelopele Local Municipality

Beautiful surroundings. BUT the fridge was broken, when the staff replaced it, they replaced it with a filthy fridge. It had a very fishy smell, there was old blood in the container above the compressor at the back of the fridge. We had to clean it. It was very disgusting. The microwave was broken. There were no spoons or teaspoons. There are no outside taps. Every year we book the whole of Sandvelde for the bank angling SA's. I think the management can at least ensure that the chalets are clean and everything is in good working order...

Spent one night on our return from a trip to the West Coast. Venue is very pretty but abultion facilities are in dire need of upgrading and thorough clean. The showers only have a curtain and no door onto the common area. Power points are also in some cases unsafe. I will not visit again until I am assured that upgrades and cleaning...
