Midlands Meander Association Office — Attraction in uMgeni Local Municipality

Don't get me wrong, the employees there are friendly; though they are absolutely useless. They are supposed to give you info about the midlands meander, yet 1 of the 3 ladies there was willing to help us, 3 leaflets were available on the 10 pockets leaflets wall, the lady couldn't answer ANY of our questions: do you have a map of the hiking trails in the area? The Midlands Meander was fantastic in the late 80's and early 90's. Lately it has become very commercial or convenient with places like Piggly Wiggly which are great stops but the meander idea is somewhat lost. So let's focus on what is great and promote that - people visit the Midlands because they looking to get away and find something unique.
