The nature and scenic views the property the Krone MCC wine tasting is set on is magnificent. As you walk into a welcoming reception area there are a few artworks on display. The passage between the reception and first section by the bathrooms is a great area for taking pictures.
The tasting offers 4 brut or sparking wine selections from their premium range at R150 (at the time of my visit), as well as 4 brut or sparkling wine selections from their entry level range at R70. I was free to roam the property with my glass during the tasting, as well as enjoy the tasting section.
There was also a separate gallery on the property, with some showpieces on display. A wine cellar in operation that is open to the public was a new great experience as part of the tasting.
Upon entry onto the property you could use a wheelchair, and possibly have your wine tasting in a small sitting area by the water fountain, however there is no wheelchair access at the tasting room up the stairs. There are also stairs by the reception area. The restrooms are accessable from the sitting area via wheelchair; unsure of the diameter entering the restrooms or of a wheelchair friendly restroom.

My boyfriend had planned with the help of Twee Jonge Gezellen to ask me to marry him! I didnt expect a thing, it was a complete surprise. We went on a cellar tour with Malu, the stairway and cellar were filled with candles and there my boyfriend went down on his knees at the right moment.
Thanks for being part of a very special day in our...
Read moreDisgusting, like a shebeen! We went there as part of the winter festival, the group was looking forward to the tastings. More than half of the people there had no access bands, everyone was gesuip and half passed out, different people had brought there own speakers pumping music.
They wouldn't even serve us a tasting as apparently the stock had run out....but they were still managing to sell hundreds of bottles somehow.
Zero control for such a "prestigious" place. Our international guests were genuinely nervous of...
