Hawk Park or Byeongmokan Park — Attraction in Anyang-si

As far as parks go, this might not be the best around, but it is not to be dismissed. It also comes with minimal nearby traffic (we love quiet and clean air) and is surrounded by the beginnings of the local mountain.

On the higher reaches of the park is a artificial waterfall next to a nice little grassy space. Said grassy space is surrounded my a useful walking area for those who like to walk in circles. Some people like that sort of thing. You don't have to worry about traffic, getting lost of changing conditions.

I personally go there for the stairs up towards the waterfall. At just over 125 stairs you get a nice interval for training for a stair race like the ones at Building 63 or Lotte...

Its our weekend-to-go-place because kids love it. The place is huge and there's this man-made waterfalls when you reach the top of the stairs. There's also a big playground for kids to play. A huge picnic ground and some wood houses to stay if at if you are planning to stay...

사실 여긴 가공된 공원이다. 너무나도 원래의 모습을 잃은 곳.

91년에 이곳에 와서 소풍을 할 즈음엔, 삼원극장(현, CGV)사거리까지 버스를 타고와서 걸어왔었다. 당시에 삼덕제지 부근 개울쪽으로 한참 공사중인 길을 피해서 흙먼지 마시며 한참을 올라갔던 기억이 있다. 그때에는 하나 작은 공터가 있어서 그곳에 집합을 했었는데, 그마저도 없어진 모양이다.

이것은 가파른 계단, 인공폭포와 산의 어울림 정도가...
