The place is huge and is a great location to spend hiking around the area or experience a different religion. There is lots of walking involved so make sure to bring water with you it you may get some from either the shops or spring in the middle of the temple grounds. To get to the big statue, its a 10min walk down to the location from the main entrance. Once there you will see a giant temple and a big statue of the Buddha. Around the statue are other deities that are carved into stone. This place has an underground (air conditioned) area for religious artifacts, art, teachings, and meditation room. There is also a circular room for praying and donations to have a hand-carved piece of wood put onto the wall by a master. The effects of this cause an image to be seen once put together with other carvings. The other half of the grounds is a restaurant, smaller shines, and quarters for the monks who reside there. Overall a real great place to visit...

So many birds singing all day, which was very lovely. The temple grounds are vast and there are plenty of walks in...

It was just beautiful. Take a camera because the statues, the scenery, the...
